Donna Kaplan, CS-FNP is a Family Practioner for Advantage Healthcare for Women. She is a Nurse Practioner specializing in Women's Health. She is an ANCC Certified Family Practioner currently licensed in West Virginia since 1993.
Kaplan attended Marshall University in Huntington, WV, graduating in May 1984 with her Associate in Science in Nursing. She then went on to acquire her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing by May 1986. From there, she worked for several years before going back to earn her Master of Science degree in Nursing (Family Nurse Practioner) from the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida in July 1993.
She has worked for Putnam General Hospital in Hurricane, WV as a Staff Nurse Medical and in the Surgical Unit from July 1984-December 1985. From that December through July 1988, she worked at St. Mary's Hospital in Huntington, WV as a Staff Nurse in Labor and Delivery, as well as a Childbirth Educator. Moving from West Virginia to Florida, Kaplan worked for St. Anthony's Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida first as a Employee Health Nurse (1989-1991), as well as a Staff Nurse in Labor and Delivery (1988-1993). She then went to All Children's Hospital in St. Petersburg, as a Staff Nurse MICU from September 1991-October 1992.
Kaplan then moved back to the Huntington area after earning her Master's in Nursing, working for Riverside OB/GYN in Huntington, WV as a Family Nurse Practioner from November 1993- October 2002. Presently, she is working for Advantage Healthcare for Women as a Family Nurse Practioner since January 2003.
